C. Ramotar - Toronto, Canada
Dear EWE Team,

I just wanted to thank for you for the prompt delivery of this lovely doll with full South Asian outfit. It was only 5 days ago that I placed the order, and the parcel came in excellent condition, with what looks like a little extra care. The garments are very well made and suited to fit.I was also very pleased see the superior quality and attention to detail of the doll itself. The children will surely value and appreciate a doll that looks and dresses like them for years to come.

EWE is a God send for people of colour with little ones, the world over. Being from Canada of the South Asian diaspora, it is very difficult to procure South Asian dolls specifically in North America. It is a great joy knowing that EWE has made available such a wide variety of culturally diverse children’s educational products, and that I was able purchase such a special doll in full traditional dress for the children.

Thanks again from myself and the young ones.
Miss Marina Mckenna
I'm just contacting you to say how much I love the Bible character puppets. They are yet another fantastic resource made beautifully. I also received my order in record time!

I used the Bible puppets today and the children really loved them!

"I liked the pictures of the animals in the Chinese New Year set, they were good and they helped me to remember the story better."

Angela Jeans Head of St. Andrews Pre-School
"The children in our pre-school love wearing authentic Asian costumes. They love the colours, the feel of the fabrics and the decorations. The dolls clothes are also very popular and the children really enjoy putting the different outfits on to the dolls."
Virginia Adsett, Education & Outreach Officer Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum
"Discovering EWE has really helped me develop workshops and activities linking our India, Chinese and African collections with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2. I wanted to develop a multicultural workshop that mixes stories with objects, costumes to try on and a simple art activity. The range produced by EWE is brilliant – authentic colours, patterns and styles all well-made, sturdy enough to cope with lots of children trying them on. It’s an extra bonus to feel that by choosing to buy from EWE you are helping disadvantaged groups in India."
Hazel Mansfield, Head Teacher of Whitehall Infant School, Middlesex
"We are a multicultural school and our children loved using these. They really enhanced our role play area and they are very easy to use because of the velcro fastenings ... They have encouraged our Asian parents to help with dressing up activities." quoted in the Nursery Equipment supplement to 'Nursery World'.
Anne Millar chair of New Lanark Primary Parents Association
"We used the costumes for our school's entry in the annual town procession. Our theme was Bollywood and the costumes were perfect - full of colour, beautifully made, and easy to put on. Everybody loved them - children and adults alike and we even won a prize. The dads, in particular, loved dressing up!"
Andrea Moss, Darrick Wood Infant School
"The Indian Wedding Set was a super practical resource that the teaching staff could use in a multi-sensory approach because of the music, costumes and props it incorporated."
Irene Dalley, Childminder
"Thank you for sending my order so promptly. I was very pleased with the quality of workmanship and detail of the clothes and the dolls are gorgeous. I also liked the packaging which includes information about the outfits etc and the little coat hangers were a lovely little extra! The children I care for (aged 2-8) absolutely loved them, so much so that they want to own some and their parents wanted details of your website which I have provided. I would, and certainly have, recommended your site to parents, other childminders and our local playgroup leaders."
Helen Hicks, Ethnic Minority Achievement Coordinator, Crawley
"The sophistication and humour of the stories [for the Akbar and Birbal puppets] make them especially suitable for use at Key Stage 2. The relationship between Akbar and Birbal can be used for teaching about characterisation, written dialogue and play scripts. The stories also provide the opportunity to explore words from other languages and the influence they have had on English."
Maureen Gibbs-pre-school worker in West Sussex,
They had such fun today with the box, and I wanted you to know how fantastic it is. The children adored the clothes, the sizing is just right, the fabric beautiful and robust, and attention to detail great. They are using them in their Christmas play. The dolls' clothes are also great -- couldn't praise the box highly enough!"
Victoria Duddy of Longscroft Children’s Nursery School
"We found these dolls’ clothes offered an excellent opportunity for children to begin learning about other cultures through an exploration of the styles, patterns and textures of commonly worn clothing.” The citation with our award from ‘Practical Pre-School’ magazine described our multicultural dress up and dolls’ outfits as “Delightfully different dressing-up clothes with the added novelty of being able to look the same as a doll! Children are able to put the sari on themselves."
