Akbar & Birbal

Akbar, a famous Indian emperor, ruled in Agra at the same times as Elizabeth I was Queen of England. Akbar was a just and good ruler and his Minister, Birbal was a wise and witty man. There are many stories about the repartee between the two of them.
Enclosed in the bag are exquisitely crafted hand puppets of Akbar and Birbal, four laminated stories to use, accessories to bring the stories to life and notes for the teacher. Each puppet is approximately 14 inches/35 cm tall. 

Hand enters through the bottom of the puppet.

These puppets are made in India by disadvantaged young women.

This product is usually despatched in 1-2 days via Royal Mail service. We might use courier service for larger orders where the total weight exceeds 1-2 KG. Please contact us if you need customised delivery before paying for your order. 

We do not supply goods on a sale or return basis.  Goods supplied correctly to order are not normally returnable.  Colours and designs shown on this website are representative only as a wide variety of fabrics are used.  If you are interested in a specific colour, for example please telephone or email us to check availability before ordering.  Our handloom fabrics will characteristically show slubs and random colour cotton fibre.
Items deemed unsuitable will not be accepted for return of credit. We take great pride in our service.  If however, we have made an error, please notify us within 3 days of receipt of the articles.
Unopened Sealed items can be returned only after it is approved for return.
